Morocco defender Othmane El Moustaoui signs for Raja El Jadida
Moroccan right-back Othmane El Moustaoui has joined Raja El Jadida as a free agent, signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2027.
The 24-year-old defender completed the move on 4 September and becomes part of Raja El Jadida’s squad after a period without a club. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the deal.
El Moustaoui was born in El Jadida and stands at 1.80m, with his preferred position on the right side of defence. He is right-footed and has made one appearance in the Botola Pro Inwi this season, playing 23 minutes.
His arrival brings a player with previous experience in the DHJ system. El Moustaoui joined DHJ U21 from DHJ Youth in July 2021 before leaving the under-21 side in July 2024. He then spent more than two years without a club before linking up with Raja El Jadida.
The defender’s move keeps him in Moroccan football and represents a return to competitive action after his spell away from the professional game. His involvement this season has so far been limited to a single Botola Pro Inwi appearance, while he has not recorded an appearance in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine.
El Moustaoui has now committed his immediate future to Raja El Jadida, with his contract scheduled to remain in place through the end of June 2027.
