Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca have secured the future of standout right back Mohamed Boulksout, extending his contract through to 2027.
Boulksout has emerged as one of the club’s key players over the past two seasons, playing a pivotal role in Raja’s recent double triumph — clinching both the League Shield and the Throne Cup.
His performances have made him one of the most notable revelations in Moroccan football.
The contract renewal is part of a broader effort led by interim president Abdullah Beroin to retain top talent and fend off interest from rival clubs.
Boulksout is one of five players the club has been negotiating with in a bid to restructure and strengthen the squad.
Following Boulksout’s extension, Raja Casablanca plans to initiate contract talks with Youssef Belamri, Adam Nafati, and Abdallah Khafifi, aiming to maintain team stability heading into the new season.
The club has also bolstered its squad with recent signings, including the return of former captain Badr Banoun and the acquisition of Nigerian midfielder Moses Arkoma from Tunisian side US Monastir.
Raja is now turning its attention to preparations for the upcoming campaign after a remarkable season of silverware.
