Morocco national team head coach Walid Regragui is set to be in attendance for this weekend’s much-anticipated Casablanca derby between Raja and Wydad Casablanca.
The fierce rivals — Morocco’s two biggest football clubs — will face off at the iconic Mohammed V Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 GMT.
According to Moroccan media reports, Regragui will be closely monitoring three players during the match: Wydad defender Jamal Harkas, along with Raja’s Mehdi El Harrar and Youssef Belamri.
Both Harkas and Belamri featured in Morocco’s most recent national team training camp last month. Belamri also earned a starting spot in the Atlas Lions’ 2026 World Cup qualifier against Tanzania.
Regragui was recently in France, where he watched Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League victory over Aston Villa on Wednesday.
