Morocco is heading into the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) with purpose, confidence, and the dream of a record third title.

After lifting the trophy in 2018 and 2021, the Atlas Lions are determined to make history once again.

Led by coach Tarik Sektioui, the team has been preparing meticulously. The players, drawn from top domestic clubs like Raja, Wydad, and Royal Army Club, bring continental experience and hunger for success. Morocco was the first nation to arrive in Kenya, showing just how seriously they are taking this campaign.

Despite landing in a challenging group, which includes hosts Kenya, two-time winners DR Congo, Zambia, and 2011 runners-up Angola, Morocco is not fazed. Recent friendly wins over Burkina Faso and Chad have boosted confidence and form.

With matches spread across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, and $3.5 million on the line, this edition of CHAN promises fierce competition. Morocco kicks off against Angola on August 3 in Nairobi, aiming to set the tone early for what could be a historic run.
