Morocco winger Reda Slim is set to sever ties with Egyptian giants Al Ahly after a short spell at the club.
The 25-year-old is leaving the Egyptian powerhouse despite having a two-year running contract with the club following a frustration season last term.
Reda Slim struggled to command a starting role in the recently concluded campaign, making only three appearances in the Egyptian Premier League.
His season was plagued by recurring injuries, limiting him to only nine appearances across competitions and accumulating only 250 minutes.
According to reports, the winger is on the verge of joining fellow Egyptian club ZED FC, but details of his move remains undisclosed.
Following impressive achievements in Morocco, Reda Slim, who was signed in July 2023, came with great expectations. The transfer to ZED FC is viewed as an opportunity to rekindle his career and secure more regular playing time, as his tenure at Al Ahly had not been promising.
His current contract with the Egyptian powerhouse is expected to elapse in the summer of 2027.
