Moroccan international Amine Adli is close to sealing a move to Premier League side Bournemouth, with negotiations between the English club and Bayer Leverkusen progressing towards a final agreement.

The 25-year-old winger has already reached personal terms with Bournemouth, paving the way for a transfer that could be completed in the coming days.

While discussions over the financial details of the deal are still ongoing, both clubs are said to be confident of reaching a favourable conclusion before the summer window closes.

Adli, who began his professional career at Toulouse FC, made his breakthrough in French football before moving to the Bundesliga, where he has become a standout performer. Since joining Bayer Leverkusen, he has featured in 142 matches, scoring 23 goals and delivering 24 assists.

His versatility, technical skill and ability to operate across the forward line have made him an integral figure under head coach Xabi Alonso.

During his time in Germany, Adli developed into a dynamic attacking presence, combining pace with creativity and intelligent movement.

His contributions were instrumental in Leverkusen’s recent campaigns, where his consistency and flair helped the club challenge at the top of the Bundesliga and in European competitions.

The timing of the potential move aligns with Adli’s personal and professional ambitions. With the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations set to take place in Morocco and the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the horizon, the winger is seeking a platform that will give him greater international visibility.

The Premier League, widely regarded as the most competitive and high-profile league in the world, offers the exposure and challenge he believes will elevate his game further.

For Bournemouth, the signing would represent a significant statement of intent. The south-coast club have been looking to bolster their attacking options and view Adli as a player capable of delivering both immediate impact and long-term value. His ability to score, create, and adapt to various tactical systems makes him a versatile asset in the squad.

Bayer Leverkusen, while reluctant to part with a player of Adli’s calibre, are aware of his desire for a new challenge and may be willing to sanction the move if the terms are right.

The club have already been preparing contingency plans to reinforce their attacking department should the transfer go through.

Adli’s prospective switch to Bournemouth would mark his first venture into English football and a new chapter in a career that has been on a steady upward trajectory since his debut in Ligue 1.

Known for his work ethic as much as his attacking flair, the Moroccan winger is expected to adapt quickly to the demands of the Premier League.

If finalised, the deal would see Bournemouth acquire a player entering his prime years, motivated by the dual goals of excelling at club level and making a decisive impact for Morocco in major international tournaments. For Adli, it would be a move designed to sharpen his competitive edge ahead of a pivotal period in his career.
