IGAMANE

Hamza Igamane, the 22-year-old Moroccan forward, has been recognised for his standout performances with Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers, winning two major awards for the 2024-2025 season.

The promising young talent was honoured with the Young Player of the Year accolade, as well as the prestigious Best Goal of the Season award, following an impressive campaign with the club.

Igamane, who joined Rangers from AS FAR, has made a significant impact in his debut season in Scotland.

His dynamic displays on the field have earned him widespread praise, and his performances have undoubtedly contributed to the club’s attacking threat.

One of his most memorable moments came in March, when he scored a stunning goal against Celtic in the highly anticipated Scottish Classico.

The goal, which helped Rangers secure a thrilling 3-2 victory over their fierce rivals, was a striking highlight of the season and was subsequently awarded the Best Goal of the Year.

This stunning strike against Celtic was not only a testament to Igamane’s technical ability but also an important moment in the fierce Old Firm rivalry.

The Moroccan’s composed finish helped Rangers seal a dramatic win, much to the delight of the club’s supporters.

The goal was a clear demonstration of Igamane’s potential and his ability to perform under pressure, qualities that have made him a fan favourite at Ibrox.

In addition to his individual goal-scoring brilliance, Igamane has enjoyed a successful season in the Scottish Premiership.

With 11 goals to his name in the league, he has been a key figure in Rangers’ attack, although the club ultimately finished behind Celtic in the title race.

Despite Rangers’ failure to clinch the league title this season, Igamane’s individual contributions have been invaluable, and his development has shown promise for the future.

The 22-year-old’s recognition at the club’s annual awards ceremony is a reflection of the hard work and consistency he has demonstrated since his arrival in Scotland.

His ability to adapt to the rigours of the Scottish Premier League and make an immediate impact has impressed both his teammates and the club’s supporters.

Rangers fans will no doubt be excited by the prospect of watching the Moroccan forward continue to develop and grow as a key player for the club in the coming seasons.

Igamane’s success this season marks just the beginning of what many believe will be an exciting career in European football.

With his blend of technical skill, composure in front of goal, and growing influence on the pitch, the young striker is poised to become an even more significant figure for Rangers moving forward.

While Celtic ultimately claimed the league title this year, Rangers will be looking to rebuild and mount a stronger challenge next season.

With Igamane in their ranks, the club now has an exciting prospect to help them in their pursuit of Scottish football’s top honours.

As his career continues to blossom, Rangers fans will undoubtedly be hoping that Igamane can deliver even more memorable moments in the seasons to come.
