Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah sets unwanted record in Saudi Pro League

Abderrazak Hamdallah, the striker for Al-Shabab FC, has become the player with the most missed penalty kicks in the history of the Saudi Professional Football League.

Statistics from the league reveal that Hamdallah has now missed 11 penalties, surpassing most players in the competition’s history.

The Moroccan international shares this record with Omar Al-Somah are spread his goals across his time with different clubs: eight with Al-Nasr FC, one with Al-Ittihad Club, and two with Al-Shabab.

By comparison, Al-Somah’s misses came with Al-Ahli (eight), Al-Orouba (one), and Al-Hazm (two).

The record set by the striker nicknamed ‘The Executioner’ highlights an unusual statistical distinction for Hamdallah, who remains one of the most prolific Moroccan forwards despite the setback in penalty conversions.
