A source within the Al Ahly football team has unveiled the anticipated timeline for the return of Moroccan international Reda Slim to the team’s collective training sessions in the coming period.
This follows his rehabilitation program designed to facilitate a seamless return to regular participation with the “Red Devils.”
A medical team insider at Al Ahly, in statements to the Egyptian sports portal “Al Watan Sport,” clarified that Slim is currently in the final phase of his rehabilitation.
He is on the brink of rejoining the team’s group training sessions in the near future, having successfully recovered from the injury that sidelined him.
The source further disclosed, “Slim will resume full training with Al Ahly in about a week.
Given his close proximity to returning to regular team activities, especially after recovering from the injury to his thigh, he is set to participate in the collective sessions shortly.”
It’s noteworthy that Reda Slim sustained an injury to his thigh in a recent match, particularly during the second leg against Mamelodi Sundowns in the African League semi-final.
The game took place at the Cairo International Stadium.
Slim’s imminent return is poised to boost Al Ahly’s squad strength, offering Coach Pitso Mosimane additional options as the team navigates various competitions.
The Moroccan midfielder, known for his technical prowess and strategic play, is expected to contribute significantly to Al Ahly’s aspirations in domestic and continental competitions.
As the countdown to Slim’s return begins, Al Ahly fans eagerly anticipate his presence on the pitch, hoping that his skill and experience will enhance the team’s performances in the challenges that lie ahead.
