Moroccan international Ashraf Dari has communicated his intention to depart from the French club Brest during the ongoing transfer window, according to exclusive sources reported to “Hesport.”
The sources revealed that Dari had a meeting with the Brest management, during which he expressed his wish to seek more playing time with a new team after being sidelined from the starting lineup for an extended period.
In his discussion with the club’s management, the Moroccan defender presented a range of proposals received for his departure, including an offer from a Belgian top-tier team and another from a club in the Saudi Arabian league.
The final decision on these offers is pending further discussions and mutual agreement.
The Brest officials have acknowledged and understood Dari’s decision, accepting his desire to leave without encountering any obstacles.
The only remaining step is the acceptance of one of the presented offers before the conclusion of the ongoing winter transfer window.
Dari has been absent from Brest’s league matches since the beginning of the season due to the coach’s selections.
He has participated in only four matches, accumulating a total playing time of 118 minutes across 11 league rounds.
It’s worth noting that Ashraf Dari joined Brest during the previous summer transfer window with a contract extending until the summer of 2026.
His move to the French club followed his tenure with Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca.
