Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca are pushing for the permanent signing of South African forward Thembinkosi Lorch in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Lorch spent half of the 2024/25 campaign with Wydad Casablanca from South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns.
Despite his modest performance, the Moroccan giants are said to be pushing for the permanent signing of the winger.
Wydad Casablanca is not giving up on securing the winger on permanent basis heading into the 2025/26 football campaign. Despite the lack of consensus between the clubs over a permanent transfer, Wydad still hopes to turn the loan into a full transfer.
The Moroccan club remains determined to sign Lorch, but the terms being demanded by Mamelodi Sundowns have not been disclosed.
Lorch was a key player for Wydad at the FIFA Club World Cup, featuring in all three matches and netting one goal. In total, the Bloemfontein native has played 17 games for Wydad, scoring three times.
