Moroccan forward Othmane Maamma completes move to Watford

English Championship side Watford have confirmed the signing of Moroccan forward Othmane Maamma from Montpellier.

The promising 19-year-old has signed a four-year deal, with the fee remaining undisclosed.

“Watford has completed the signing of Montpellier forward Othmane Maamma,” the club stated.

“The striker arrives at Vicarage Road for an undisclosed fee, with the young Moroccan international penning a four-year deal.”

Maamma, who was under contract at Montpellier until 2027, makes the switch after registering one goal and one assist in 12 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
