Montpellier’s president, Louis Nicollin, expressed strong dissatisfaction with the supplier of Mbaye Niang’s Ferrari in a recent interview with 20 minutes.
Niang, aged 19, was involved in a car accident on February 2 while driving his Ferrari. He collided with several cars before abandoning his vehicle and fleeing the scene. After admitting to the incident, the Franco-Senegalese player was sentenced to 18 months in prison and fined 700 euros.
Nicollin expressed his anger towards the individual who provided Niang with the Ferrari, stating, “I’m not going to congratulate him, but I’m especially angry with the person who put this Ferrari in his hands. You have to be a complete idiot to leave something like that to a 19-year-old. I don’t know who it is, but even if I’m old, I’ll beat him up if I find out who it is.”
