The African representatives at the Futsal World Cup in Thailand are facing challenges in the tournament. Libya, participating for the first time, and experienced teams Morocco and Egypt have encountered difficulties.
Libya, in Group C alongside Brazil, Portugal, and Japan, faced a tough draw. Despite their efforts, they suffered three defeats in as many matches, conceding a total of 22 goals while scoring only 3. The heaviest defeat in the tournament came against Brazil, with Libya losing 13-0.
Morocco, in Group B, faced tough opposition as well. They were defeated by Panama 8-3, followed by another loss to Iran with a score of 2-1. In their last match against Spain, Morocco faced another defeat, this time with a score of 5-1.
