AS Monaco have targeted Sevilla attacking midfielder Stanis Idumbo as a possible replacement for Morocco youngster Eliesse Ben Seghir in the current transfer window.
Ben Seghir, is on the cusp of completing a move away from his formative club, with Monaco identifying the Belgium youth international as the perfect replacement for the club.
The 20-year-old Morocco youngster is set to join German outfit Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee worth €30m.
Stanis Idumb, who was born in France, is set to sign a long-term deal with the Principality club. An agreement between Monaco and Sevilla has already been reached, with the midfielder set to travel to the south of France on Thursday to complete the move.
Last season, Idumbo made 14 appearances for Sevilla in La Liga, including three starts. He will bring depth to the attacking positions at Monaco.
Despite nearing Monaco departure, Ben Seghir has already featured in the opening two games for Monaco this season.
Ben Seghir has made eleven appearances for the Morocco national team, scoring three goals since making his debut back in September 2024.
