Ivory Coast international Wilfried Singo could depart AS Monaco as the summer transfer window approaches.
Singo joined Monaco from Torino for €9m in 2023 and immediately established himself as a key member of the team, featuring at centre-back and at right-back.
He has been prominent once again this season, playing 32 games in all competitions. Despite having a three-year contract, Monaco have opened the door for an exit and are planning to sell the defender this summer.
Monaco are hoping to utilize the interest in Singo’s services in order to generate a sale, with clubs in the Serie A, expressing keen interest in the defender.
According to reports, Fiorentina, Empoli and Torino are the three Serie A teams to have expressed interest in the AFCON winner. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old dreams of a move to the Premier League.
Monaco have opened the exit door for Singo after already securing the signing of one defender in the summer transfer window. The French giants are set to sign Eric Dier (30) on a free transfer from Bayern Munich when the Englishman’s contract expires.
