Eric Abidal is set to make his return for AS Monaco in the 11th day of Ligue 1 against Olympique de Marseille. The former Lyon player has been absent for a week but is ready to face his former club. His return coincides with that of teammate Emmanuel Rivière, who left the team three weeks ago. Although coach Claudio Ranieri mentioned that they haven’t trained with intensity, they may not be able to play the full 90 minutes. Additionally, Layvin Kurzawa, who was absent during the last two days of the championship, is also reported to be operational. Eric Abidal, after two liver transplants, has already played nine matches for Monaco, all as a starter.
