RS Berkane head coach Moine Chaabani says his side has passed two difficult tests at the start of the Moroccan league season, after victories over newly promoted Olympique Dcheira and Kawkab Marrakech.

“Anyone who thinks taking six points from the first two matches was easy is mistaken,” the Tunisian tactician said after their latest win.

“It required a lot of effort, especially considering the energy and determination that newly promoted teams usually bring. We are, however, very satisfied with our results.”

Chaabani, who guided Berkane to their historic first league title last season, stressed that the team’s resilience has been built through hard work.

“The club has developed a strong character, but the challenges ahead will be even tougher. What matters is that we have the desire and motivation to keep progressing.”

He added that Berkane will continue to approach the season step by step.

“We take each game as it comes. The league is still at an early stage, and there will be many changes along the way.”

RS Berkane will now turn their attention to the CAF Champions League first leg of the preliminary round of game against ASC Kara.
