Mohamed Salah has reiterated his belief that he is in his “last year” with Liverpool, emphasizing his desire to leave the club by winning the Premier League title.
With just six months remaining on his contract, the Egyptian forward has openly expressed his intentions, adding pressure on the club regarding his future.
In a recent interview with Sky Sports News, Salah stated that while his primary focus remains on securing the league title with Liverpool, he acknowledges that this urgency is due to the impending conclusion of his time at the club.
Salah, who previously indicated he might be “more out than in,” noted that winning the Premier League has become a newfound priority.
Speaking to TNT Sports, he again said, “So far, yes. It’s the last six months.
“There is no progress there. We are far away from any progress. So, we just need to wait and see.
“The thing in my head is that if this is the last six months, what do you want to see in the future? Do you want to look back and say I was concerned or stressed about the contract? Or do you just want to say I had an unbelievable season? That’s what is in my head.
“If I ever feel distraction, I just remind myself I want to look back and say I had an unbelievable season. That’s what I want to do.”
