Mohamed Salah is just special; he performs well in all situations – Arne Slot

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has explained why he believes Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah is a special player.

Speaking in his pre-match interview ahead of the Merseyside derby against Everton this weekend, Slot said he expects Salah to shine.

According to him, Salah is a special player because he performs in all situations, unlike many players who struggle to show up when their team do not perform.

“There are many players who perform well when the team performs well, but there aren’t many players who perform well in all situations, and that’s Mohamed Salah. That’s what makes him special,” Arne Slot said.

Mohamed Salah, 33, has been a key player for Liverpool since his move from Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma in 2017.

He has led the Reds to two English Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League triumph.

This season, Salah has started on a bright note, scoring three goals and providing two assists in his first five matches.

Liverpool’s success this season will have a lot to do with the African football icon.
