Mohamed Salah believes Arne Slot’s fearless leadership turned Liverpool into Premier League champions in his debut season.
The Egyptian forward, who had a record-breaking campaign, says Slot’s direct style and emphasis on honest communication sparked a fresh hunger within the team.
Slot took over after Jurgen Klopp’s departure and quickly made his mark, guiding the Reds to league glory in a stunning turnaround. Salah, central to the success, delivered a staggering 46 goal contributions in 35 games, setting a new record in a 38-game season.
The forward credits Slot for reigniting the competitive spirit within the squad and creating a space where players felt heard and motivated to push harder.
“I didn’t expect us to win so quickly,” Salah said. “Arne is very direct, he re-established the competition, whereas with Jurgen, we were perhaps a little too much in our comfort zone towards the end.”
Liverpool’s title charge was not just a tactical triumph, it was a shift in mindset, and Salah’s form under Slot proved that bold changes bring big results.
