Egyptian sensation Mohamed Salah has revealed how manager Arne Slot helped him to perform at a top level in the 2024/25 football season.
The experienced attacker has been one of the best in not just England but in Europe this season.
Speaking on the influence of Arne Slot, Salah said the manager reminded him that he is the superstar of Liverpool.
The Egyptian insists that this helped him to excel this season and also played a role in his decision to extend his contract with the Reds.
“I just felt that a new coach was coming in, giving you space and recognition, letting you speak all the time about what I want to improve, what I want the team to do for me, what I want to do for the team. I think that’s exactly what I needed.
“He showed me: ‘You’re different, you’re the superstar here’—and probably, that’s what I needed at that moment,” the Liverpool winger said.
In what has been a good season for Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian has helped Liverpool to clinch the English Premier League title.
