Mohamed Messoudi, who joined Oud-Heverlee Louvain from La Gantoise this summer, is determined to rediscover his best form with his new club. The Belgian midfielder of Moroccan origin signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional third season. Due to a lack of playing time at Ghent, Messoudi acknowledges that he still needs to work to reach his peak performance level.
While he is pleased with his reception at Louvain and is content with the club’s environment, Messoudi emphasizes the need to demonstrate improvement in matches. Despite missing a significant portion of the preseason, he is optimistic about his progress and is motivated to contribute positively to the team.
Messoudi has had a diverse career, starting in Division 1 with Germinal during the 2002-2003 season. He has played in the Netherlands with Willem II and returned to Belgium with Kortrijk before his recent move to Louvain.
