Mohamed Iyadh Riahi: Viborg FF sign Tunisia right-back from Stade Tunisien

Viborg FF have completed the signing of Tunisian right-back Mohamed Iyadh Riahi from Stade Tunisien in a standard transfer ahead of the 2026-27 Superliga season, with the fee undisclosed.

Riahi, 20, arrives in Denmark after emerging as one of the most highly rated young defenders in Tunisias Ligue 1. A Tunisia national, he is listed primarily as a right-back and will wear the number 2 shirt for Viborg, underlining his status as a specialist in the position.

The move marks Riahis first transfer outside Tunisia and follows a rapid rise in his valuation over the past year. His market value has climbed to 200,000 as of early June 2026, having increased significantly from earlier figures during his time at Stade Tunisien. That growth reflects his progress since stepping up from youth to senior level.

Riahi progressed through the Stade Tunisien academy structure, moving from the clubs U19 side to the U21s in 2022 before being promoted to the first team in July 2023. He has remained with the Tunis-based clubs senior side until this switch to the Danish Superliga, consolidating his reputation as a promising defender in Tunisias top flight.

By recruiting a young right-back with experience in Ligue 1 and a rising market value, Viborg add another option to their defensive ranks ahead of the new campaign.
