Mohamed El Morabit joins Moghreb Tetouan on a free transfer
Morocco attacking midfielder Mohamed El Morabit has joined Moghreb Tetouan from RS Berkane on a free transfer, strengthening the Botola Pro Inwi club’s midfield options.
The 27-year-old completed the move on 9 September 2026 and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028. El Morabit, who operates primarily as an attacking midfielder, leaves RS Berkane after three seasons with the club.
El Morabit was part of the RS Berkane side that won the Moroccan championship and the CAF Confederation Cup during the 2024-25 season. Those honours represent the major team successes of his career to date and provide the latest competitive context behind his move to Moghreb Tetouan.
He has spent the majority of his senior career in Moroccan football, with previous spells at SCC Mohammedia and OC Safi. His career record in the Botola Pro Inwi stands at 222 appearances, 11 goals and 28 assists. He has also played in African club competitions, recording three goals and three assists in 22 CAF Confederation Cup appearances.
El Morabit began his senior career with OC Safi after progressing from the club’s reserve side. He moved to SCC Mohammedia in September 2020 before spending time on loan at Raja Casablanca and OC Safi during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. His loan spell at Raja Casablanca included a €47,000 loan fee, while his later move from SCC Mohammedia to RS Berkane took place in July 2023.
The transfer brings El Morabit to Moghreb Tetouan without a fee after his departure from RS Berkane. The Moroccan midfielder is now contracted to the club until June 2028.
