Mohamed El Gabbas is not backing down from his belief that Pyramids FC rightfully hold the Egyptian League crown.
The experienced striker insists the club’s rise is no fluke and claims the ongoing case at the International Sports Court will soon reveal the truth.
“Pyramids are the champions of the Egyptian League, this is my conviction, and we are waiting for the final judgement from the International Sports Court. Even if we lost the title, it was not on the pitch, but due to external factors that affected the continuation of the competition, which everyone can attest to,” El Gabbas explained.
He praised the club’s historic achievement of winning the CAF Champions League, calling it a reward for years of hard work by the squad, coaches, and management.
El Gabbas is also looking ahead to the Egyptian Cup final against Zamalek and underlined its importance.
“No one can replace Al Ahly and Zamalek, but our goal is to win the Egyptian Cup in the highly anticipated match against Zamalek on Thursday at Cairo Stadium.”
