Aboutrika started his football journey at the Tersana Sporting Club’s training center at the age of 12 before making his way to the first team. Later, he joined El-Ahly, one of Cairo’s prestigious clubs, at the beginning of the 2003-2004 season.
His achievements with Al-Ahly include numerous Egyptian Championships, Cups, Super Cups, CAF Champions League titles, and a significant role in the 2006 and 2008 CAF Africa Cup of Nations victories. Aboutrika played a crucial role in Egypt’s success by scoring decisive goals in both finals.
Despite his immense talent, Aboutrika chose to spend his entire playing career on the African continent.
