Moha Keita: Real Jaen CF complete free transfer for Senegal winger from Atl. Baleares

Real Jaen CF have completed the signing of Senegalese right winger Moha Keita from Atlético Baleares on a free transfer, with the move officially registered to take effect from 2026-07-03 and running until 2027-06-30.

The 26-year-old arrives with a current estimated market value of 250k, making the deal a low-risk addition for the Primera Federación – Group II side. The transfer is confirmed as a free move, with no fee due to Atlético Baleares, where Keita had been playing in Spain’s Segunda Federación – Group III.

Keita, born in Dakar on 18/09/1999, joins Real Jaen as a specialist right-sided attacker. Standing 1.65m tall and preferring his right foot, he is listed primarily as an attacking right winger. His registration now reflects Real Jaen as his current club, confirming that he will be competing in Spain’s third tier rather than in his home country of Senegal.

The winger’s switch follows an eventful 18 months in his career. After leaving Romanian side ASFC Buzau in early 2025, Keita briefly became a free agent before signing for CD Atlético Baleares on 2025-02-24. His performances there coincided with a sharp rise in his valuation, which climbed from 100k while at Baleares in mid-2025 to 250k by 2026-06-08, suggesting a strong spell in the Spanish lower leagues ahead of this move.

Before returning to Spain with Baleares, Keita spent time abroad with CF Os Belenenses in Portugal, having joined the Lisbon club from CE Sabadell FC on 2023-07-04. His market value at Belenenses fluctuated between 175k and 200k during the 2023–24 season, underlining his status as a consistent performer across different European environments.

Keita’s career path has largely been built in Iberia. After stepping up from Girona FC U19 to CF Peralada in 2018, he moved to FC Andorra in early 2019, then to Getafe CF B in 2020. From there he joined Lleida CF in 2021 and Sabadell in 2022, gaining experience across various Spanish divisions before his spells in Portugal and Romania and his return to Spain.

The move to Real Jaen CF positions Keita in the more competitive Primera Federación – Group II, a step up from the Segunda Federación – Group III where he last featured with Atlético Baleares. With his contract now formally tied to Real Jaen from 2026-07-03 to 2027-06-30, the Senegalese winger has the platform to consolidate his rising market value and further establish his reputation in Spanish football over the coming season.
