Moha Abouhafs: Atletic Lleida sign Spanish-Moroccan winger on free transfer
Atletic Lleida have completed the signing of right winger Moha Abouhafs from Atletico Monzon on a free transfer. The 27-year-old moves within Spanish football ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, joining his new club after a short spell with Monzon.
Born in Olot on 14 January 1999, Abouhafs represents both Spain and Morocco at national level. He is primarily deployed as an attacking right winger, adding options in wide areas for Atletic Lleida following his latest move.
Abouhafs arrives after spending the 2025-26 period with Atletico Monzon, having joined them from UE Figueres on 1 January 2025. That switch continued a run of moves within the Spanish game that has taken him across several Catalan and Aragonese sides.
Before his time at Monzon, Abouhafs played for Figueres from the summer of 2023, following a transfer from FC LEscala earlier that year. His spell at LEscala came after a stint with CF Peralada, who signed him from UE Olot in July 2022.
Earlier in his senior career, the winger progressed through regional Spanish football with sides including CE Banyoles and CF Sant Jaume de Llierca, building experience across multiple clubs before his latest step to Atletic Lleida.
Abouhafs move continues his consistent presence in the Spanish lower divisions, with Atletic Lleida now the latest club to secure his services on a permanent basis.
