Milan’s Technical Director, Geoffrey Moncada, expresses unwavering optimism regarding the potential of Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze, despite a subdued initiation into the Rossoneri squad.
In a recent encounter with Newcastle, Chukwueze found the net, securing a pivotal goal in Milan’s 2-1 triumph. This victory ensured Milan’s qualification for the Europa League play-offs.
Notably, this marked only the second goal for the 24-year-old in 15 appearances across various competitions.
Moncada, acknowledging Chukwueze’s work ethic and character, shared his positive outlook on the player’s future impact on Milan. “I’m happy for Chukwueze because he is a good guy who works a lot.

Since his summer transfer from Villarreal, Chukwueze is yet to find the back of the net in Serie A, enduring 11 league matches without a goal.
