Having had a promising debut season with AC Milan, making 20 appearances in Serie A, M’Baye Niang is eager to build on his success in the upcoming season. However, there are indications that the Lombard club may be looking to transfer him to Fiorentina. Despite being previously linked with AS Monaco, the 18-year-old striker is now being rumored to be a target for Fiorentina.
According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, Milan is exploring the possibility of including Niang in a potential deal to acquire Adem Ljajić, the Serbian midfielder from Fiorentina. The Italian daily suggests that Fiorentina is seeking a transfer fee between 10 and 12 million euros for Ljajić. In response, AC Milan is reportedly considering the inclusion of Niang in the transaction to negotiate a lower price for the Serbian midfielder.
