Ferjani Sassi, the midfielder for Club Sportif Sfaxien, may be making a move to Ligue 1 in the upcoming transfer window, with Olympique Lyonnais showing interest in acquiring him.
Reports from Tunisian media indicate that Olympique Lyonnais has officially submitted an offer to Club Sportif Sfaxien for the transfer of Ferjani Sassi. Lyon’s representatives have been monitoring the young Tunisian international for several matches and seem convinced of his potential, prompting their desire to sign him.
While Club Sportif Sfaxien is open to the idea of letting Sassi leave, they may prefer to retain him until the conclusion of the first leg of the CAF Champions League. The proposed transfer fee stands at approximately 1.2 million Euros, and discussions between the two clubs’ leadership are expected to take place in the coming days.
Having enjoyed a successful season with Club Sportif Sfaxien, finishing second in the Tunisian championship and still competing in the Champions League, Ferjani Sassi has emerged as a key player for the Sfax club.
