Meloud Hamdi is ready to lead Ismaily through a fresh chapter.
The experienced Algerian coach, who recently impressed with Tanzania’s Young Africans, has been officially unveiled as the new head of the Egyptian club.
Following the resignation of Tamer Mostafa, Ismaily moved swiftly to secure Hamdi’s services, aiming to bring back stability and belief to the squad. The club introduced him in a packed press conference on Monday, which was also attended by Nasr Abu Al-Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Hamdi spoke passionately through the club’s official Facebook account, stating: “I am happy with the hospitality I received at Ismailia. I love Ismaily, I have followed their matches and I know the club’s history.”
He also made a heartfelt promise to the fans to give his all, pushing for improved results and urging the supporters to stay behind the team during tough times.
As the Dervish look to turn the page, Hamdi’s arrival offers new energy, commitment, and a hopeful beginning to what could be a revival season.
