Saudi legal expert Ahmed Al-Shiikhi confirmed the resolution of the dispute in the “registration case” between Al-Nassr football club, the Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah, and Al-Ittihad club for the same sport.
Al-Shiikhi, through his personal page on the “X” social media platform, stated, “After withdrawing the case, the three parties – Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, and Hamdallah – reached a final agreement to resolve the pending case at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).”
The Saudi legal expert continued, “The agreement was reached through mediation, following multiple friendly sessions and discussions.
All that remains now is the mediator’s approval and signature to make the agreement official and binding.”
Al-Shiikhi emphasized that this agreement means that there will be no ruling in the case, and it will continue to be confidential and undisclosed.
“There will be no penalties, such as suspensions for players or administrators, and there will be no registration bans for either of the clubs,” he added.
He expressed, “I had hoped that the mediation would take place at the Saudi arbitration center, not in Switzerland, but I trust that the center is on the verge of several positive changes and developments, God willing.”
It is worth noting that Al-Nassr Saudi football club unilaterally terminated Hamdallah’s contract in November 2022.
