Mbaye Niang officially became a Montpellier player on December 20 after being loaned from AC Milan to the Hérault club for more playing time. The French striker, who had a challenging season and a half in Italy, playing 28 matches without scoring a goal, aims to revitalize his career back in France.
Having been presented to the press on Thursday, Niang is set to don the number 9 jersey for the 2012 French champions.
