Mayoro N’Doye has officially extended his stay with FC Metz, signing a new three-year contract that keeps him at the club until June 2017. The 22-year-old Senegalese midfielder, whose previous contract had expired, has opted to continue his development in Moselle, just as the club prepares to return to Ligue 1.
Though not a regular starter last season — with only 18 appearances (including 10 starts) in Ligue 2 — N’Doye remains part of Albert Cartier’s plans for the upcoming campaign in the French top flight. His re-signing signals Metz’s belief in his potential and the importance of squad depth as they face the challenge of competing at a higher level.
This new contract gives N’Doye a valuable opportunity to prove himself in Ligue 1 and earn a more prominent role in the team.
