Mauritania prepares for friendly against Morocco as focus shifts to future
With their hopes of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations dashed, Mauritania is turning its attention to future competitions. The Mourabitounes are set to face Morocco in a friendly match on October 11 as part of their preparations.
Interim coach Sall Moustapha, who stepped in following Patrice Neveu’s departure, has announced a squad of 14 locally based players for the fixture. Training is scheduled to begin on September 20 at 4:45 p.m. at the Cheikha Boydiya Stadium.
