Lesotho laboured to hold Rwanda to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday in their clash in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Rwanda hosted the Round 6 encounter determined to pick up all points to put pressure on South Africa, the leaders of Group C.
Despite a good performance from Rwanda in the first half, the team could not find the back of the net.
However, in the second half, Jojea Kwizera broke the deadlock with a fine strike to give the hosts the lead.
While it looked like Rwanda would go on to earn all three points, Lesotho fought back and scored in the 82nd minute thanks to a strike from Lehlohonolo Fothoane.

After dropping two points, Rwanda sits second in the Group C standings with eight points, trailing South Africa by five points.
Lesotho, on the other hand, sits in 5th position with six points.
