The former Arsenal goal poacher who now plays for Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League started for his country in the Round 6 fixture of the qualification games.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s brace was key for Gabon’s win sending the team to the top of the Group F standings in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The only consolation goal for Kenya was scored by Michael Olunga.
