Cape Verde showed a lot of determination to defeat Angola 2-1 in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday, March 25.
In the Group D contest between the two national teams, Cape Verde took the lead through Dailon Rocha Livramento in the final minutes of the first half.
Although Angola will restore parity after Gelson Dala equalised five minutes into the second half, Dailon Rocha Livramento scored again in the 63rd minute to seal a 2-1 win for his side.

Cape Verde, after the win against Angola, has taken hold of the top spot in the Group D standings with 13 points from six matches.
Angola, on the other hand, has seven points and occupies the 4th position.
