French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille are interested in signing Algerian defender Ramy Bensebaini in the summer transfer window.

The coach believes that if he had a solid defense this season, Marseille could have better challenged for the French Ligue 1 title and the other trophies his team competed for.
He has identified Ramy Bensebaini as a defender who can improve his team and wants the officials of the club to do everything to bring him on board.
Despite the high interest, Marseille are yet to establish any form of contact with Borussia Dortmund.
It is understood that the German Bundesliga club is not opposed to the sale of the Algerian defender but will only allow him to leave for the right price.
Ramy Bensebaini, 30, is under contract with Dortmund until the summer of 2027. He is not expected to cost a lot, but Marseille would need to present a convincing offer.
