Marseille’s head coach Jean-Louis Gasset has confirmed that Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi will miss the upcoming match against Le Havre in the final round of the French Ligue 1 season.
The announcement came during a press conference held on Friday, where Gasset cited an injury as the reason for Ounahi’s absence.
“Ounahi will not be available for the match against Le Havre due to injury,” Gasset stated. “He did not participate in this morning’s training session.”
The coach also cast doubt on the availability of another Moroccan international, Amine Harit, who is similarly struggling with an injury and missed Friday’s training session.
“Harit’s participation is also uncertain as he is dealing with an injury,” Gasset added.
Ounahi’s season has been challenging, marked by criticism and a lack of the expected impact at Marseille.
Speculation about his potential departure from the club has been growing, especially given his struggles to consistently deliver strong performances.
