Marcelo Bielsa, touted as the future coach of Olympique de Marseille, observed OM’s victory over Montpellier from the stands of La Mosson on Friday evening, marking the opening of the 33rd day of Ligue 1.
Following the match, André Ayew shed some light on Bielsa’s involvement, suggesting that the Argentine coach is already actively engaged and familiar with the OM squad.
“The presence of Bielsa doesn’t alter anything. I don’t believe a coach arrives at a club and instantly forms opinions solely based on the last match. From what I understand, he is well acquainted with all the players here. Our focus remains on playing, enjoying the game, and accumulating as many points as possible. As for the coach, that will unfold in due time,” Ayew conveyed to Goal reporters.
