There were reports suggesting that Marouane Fellaini, the Moroccan-origin midfielder from Everton, was on the verge of signing for Manchester United. The player was reportedly interested in reuniting with his former coach, David Moyes, at Old Trafford. Fellaini has an exit clause set at 27 million euros, and this clause was set to expire on August 14.
However, as of the latest information, Everton has claimed that they have not received any offer from Manchester United. Everton manager Roberto Martinez stated, “There have been no offers. When you read that a club is interested in a player, that doesn’t necessarily mean there’s an offer on the table. But it’s good news because it means they are good and efficient.”
Martinez emphasized that the players, including Fellaini, are working hard for the team, and he remains focused on his work. The transfer speculation and headlines during the season are common, and Martinez indicated that they don’t distract him from his responsibilities.
