The Marc Vivien Foé Prize for the best African player in Ligue 1 will be awarded on May 18, with Vincent Enyeama‘s successor to be revealed. The 93 journalists who vote on the award have now closed the votes, and 10 players are in the running for the prestigious prize.

The Marc Vivien Foé Prize has been awarded annually since 2009 to honor the best African player in France’s top division. The previous winners include Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (2013), Gervinho (2010, 2011), and Marouane Chamakh (2009).
