Marc Guehi enjoying life at Manchester City

Marc Guehi says his first months at Manchester City have been everything he hoped for and more, describing the experience as both “relentless and exciting” since his January arrival.

The England defender admitted the step up has been intense but exactly the kind of challenge he wanted at this stage of his career.

“It’s hard to put into words. It’s relentless, exciting, everything I wanted, to be able to play at this level, challenge for trophies,” Guehi explained, reflecting on the demands of competing for silverware on multiple fronts. He stressed how much he is learning every day: “Just learning a lot, being able to make mistakes, coming out again and learning again.”

Guehi also expressed real gratitude for the environment he has walked into at City. “It’s something I want to do, and I’ve been given the opportunity to do that here, with a fantastic football club, amazing players, amazing manager, and the fans have been great as well,” he said.

For Guehi, the combination of elite standards, trust from the staff and backing from supporters makes this demanding new chapter feel deeply rewarding.
