Cameroon’s head coach, Marc Brys, has assured that his team is ready to face defending champions Côte d’Ivoire in the group stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking about the highly anticipated clash, Brys emphasized that despite the rivalry and Côte d’Ivoire’s recent triumph, his team will remain focused on their own performance.
We are not afraid of anything. We are not afraid of Eto’o, we are not afraid of Ivory Coast.

The only thing is to focus on ourselves,” Brys said. Cameroon will also face Mozambique and Gabon in the group, with their opening match against Côte d’Ivoire set for December 23 in Marrakech.
Brys is confident in his team’s ability to compete and believes the Indomitable Lions are well-prepared for the challenge ahead.
