‘Many speak, but few tell the truth’ – Nicolas Jackson’s agent hits back at Bayern rumours
Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson’s agent has addressed growing speculation over the Chelsea forward’s loan move to Bayern Munich, stressing that rumours of a guaranteed permanent deal are misleading.
Jackson joined the Bundesliga champions late in the summer window on a season-long loan, with Bayern paying £14.2 million.
The deal includes a reported obligation to buy for £56.2m if he starts 40 matches this season—an unlikely scenario given the presence of Harry Kane as the club’s first-choice striker.
Confusion over the deal deepened when Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeness dismissed suggestions of an automatic transfer.
“It’s not a €16.5m loan fee, because the player and his agent are contributing €3m, so that leaves €13.5m,” Hoeness said. “There will definitely not be a permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start. He will never do that.”
Within hours, Jackson’s agent Diomansy Kamara responded on Instagram, insisting that the focus is not on transfer clauses but on the striker’s international commitments.
“Many speak, but few tell the truth,” Kamara posted. “That’s not the topic today. Our only priority is Senegal’s decisive match for World Cup qualification. This is a crucial moment for the entire nation.”
Kamara also underlined his approach as a representative of African players, noting: “Our journey, our ethics, and our way of working are well known: first as footballers and now as advisors.
“It’s time for a united front. The rest will be dealt with later, at the appropriate time. End of story.”
Jackson is expected to make his Bayern debut after the international break when Vincent Kompany’s side travel to Hamburg.
He faces stiff competition from Kane but will be eager to stake a claim in a squad that has made a perfect start to the Bundesliga campaign.
