Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement to secure the services of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
Osimhen is set for a permanent departure from Napoli in the summer, with several top clubs in Europe showing keen interest in the former Serie A goal king.
The Premier League giants are in the hunt for a new striker following their inconsistent performance, particularly in the Premier League.
With Manchester United reaching an agreement with Napoli, the Red Devil will splash an amount of €60 million to secure the signature of the in-demand Nigeria attacker.
Osimhen, on the other hand, has also agreed to join Manchester United and will earn €15m a season.
The Nigeria international joined Galatasaray last summer on season long loan, with his spell in Turkey set to come to an end in June 2025.
It is a dry loan with Galatasaray simply covering his salary from September until June at a cost of €10 million.
He has enjoyed a fantastic season with Galatasaray, scoring 29 goals in 34 games in all competitions.
Osimhen will return to Napoli at the end of the season and then leave the club permanently.
The 26-year-old has a release clause in his Napoli contract worth €75 million, for foreign clubs only.
