Premier League giants Manchester United have expressed strong interest to sign Cameroonian forward Bryan Mbeumo ahead of the summer transfer window.
Mbeumo has become a subject of interest for several clubs following a standout performance for Brentford in the recently concluded campaign.
The 25-year-old racked up 20 goals and provided 8 assists in 38 Premier League appearances for Brentford. His outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, with the Cameroonian forward attracting interest from a hosts of clubs including Manchester United.
The Red Devils are seeking to strengthen their squad for the new campaign following an inconsistent performance in the just ended season, particularly, the Premier League.
Manchester United have expressed huge interest in Mbeumo as the club look to strengthen their attacking flanks amid the possible departure of Alejandro Garnacho.
However, the acquisition of Mbeumo largely depends on whether Manchester United can offload Marcus Rashford and Antony.
Meanwhile, Brentford are demanding around £50 million for Mbeumo’s transfer.
